Methodology

Honest about how we read.

How a Tessellar reading is produced — and the parts we will not gloss over.

Four lenses on one chart

Your chart is the same set of birth coordinates in every tradition. What changes is the vocabulary, the technique, and the questions each tradition is willing to answer. Tessellar does not blend. It presents four readings, each labelled by tradition, and lets you compare.

Where the words come from

The interpretive prose in a Tessellar reading is generated entirely by a language model. Editorial templates supply the structure and voice. Scholarly source material — Valens, Greene, the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, classical BaZi texts — supplies the technical content the model is given to work from. There is no human reviewer in the loop on individual readings; we are honest about that. What the model produces is what you read.

What we will never do

We will never tell you your future is fixed. We will never call a placement "good" or "bad" without context. We will never use astrology to make health, financial, or relationship decisions for you. We give you a vocabulary; you decide. We will never share or sell your birth data — to anyone, for any purpose, ever.

If our reading conflicts with another astrologer's

It probably will, eventually. Each tradition has internal disagreements; the four traditions sometimes disagree among themselves. We treat the difference as a feature. A Hellenistic reader and a modern Western reader looking at the same chart will say different things, both honestly. Tessellar shows you both, and labels the lens.
